After wrong statements of Ahsan Iqbal about 5G launch in Pakistan, National media raped the news immediately and hammered the government for giving wrong statements.
It should be remembered that Associated Press of Pakistan, the state news agency, had excerpted Ahsan Iqbal’s stating:
“Government was planning to launch 5th generation (5G) cellular services soon to ensure the fastest connectivity.”
But, after this reaction, Ahsan Iqbal has now contradicted the statement. Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform announced a description on Minister’s statement and stated that Ahsan Iqbal nowhere in his statement declared that Pakistan was very soon shifting to 5G rather he stated:
“Pakistan was lagging behind especially in information communication technology.”
The Ministry of Planning, Development and Reform said that the PML-N government very shortly after assuming powers in 2013 graveled the method for the quick and simple sale of 3G and 4G/LTE spectrum which in a result returned the country to standard with rest of the world Molding country ready for 5G.
This is not the first time that governing party is found lying regarding facts or regularly proclaiming the same project numerous times, but this is apparently the first time that PML(N) has denied a statement to change the experiences.It should be remembered that first 5G sales rollout anyplace in the world is expected around 2020.
