It is reported that the Apple is going to kill the USB 3.0 and MagSafe ports in its next generation MacBook pro and is also working to eliminate the 11 inch MacBook Air completely. According to the Japanese rumor site named as “Macotakara” is the first site who has rumored that the company is going to destroy its traditional headphone jack in its iPhone 7. Moreover, the site has already revealed that the Apple is going to reveal its 15.4-13.3 MacBook Pro in an event that will be held at the end of this month.
Keeping in view the previous rumor of the site, if the report is true then the MackBook will be only packed in USB type C and Thunderbolt 3 ports. With the new MackBook, you will able to char the Macbook pro with USB-C and can connect to the peripheral devices through Thunderbolt 3. Which indicates you would have to buy the new adaptor in order to connect through USB 3.0 as maximum no of the devices uses the traditional standards. Apple sells $79 USB-C dock in order to get USB 3.0.
As from the report, The company will discontinue 11.1 inches and will reveal 13.3 MacBook Air. However, the company did not confirm about discontinuing the MacBook Air model completely.
MacBook Pro will also have OLED touch and will be in sales after the event. For sure, this will be a good news for the lovers of the new MackBook Pro model and obviously, they will be waiting badly if we assume that the report is true. However, the Japanese site has already rumored about the same thing in June and the prediction that it has made in August did not happen.
