Asus ROG Phone 7 Series Officially Launching on April 13

Asus fans, mark your calendars! The company has announced that it will unveil its ROG Phone 7 series at an event on April 13. Unlike the previous year, Asus isn’t waiting until summer to make its newest gaming phones official. Asus announces this ROG’s official Twitter account.

The event will live stream, allowing fans to see the latest additions to the Asus ROG Phone 7 lineup. The event will take place at 8 PM Taipei time, 2 PM Berlin time, and 8 AM New York time, respectively.

Asus is famous for its gaming-centric devices, and the ROG Phone 7 series is no exception. The upcoming phones have already made its way to the Geekbench online database. With not one, not two, but three versions of the phone as prototypes. All three models have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset with 16GB of RAM onboard. While the current prototypes all have 16GB of RAM, there may be an option with 18GB.

Asus ROG Phone 7

The Asus ROG Phone 7 will likely have a 6.8″ FHD+ 165 Hz AMOLED touchscreen, a 6,000 mAh battery, and 65W charging support. These specifications are according to past rumors, and we’ll have to wait for the official unveiling to confirm them.
