As you all know about modern children who have been wasting their maximum time in using mobile phones. It is known that the former Microsoft CEO, Bill gates never allows his children to adopt such behavior.

Bill Gates said: “We often set a time after which there is no screen time and in their case that helps them get to sleep at a reasonable hour.”

He even does not allow them to have cell phones before they reached 14 years of age. And, even after that, he enforced some restrictions on the use of the mobile phone like when they can use phones and when they cannot.

Still, a lot of people says that his children don’t even need the cell phones as their father is so rich and he can provide them more luxurious comforts instead of letting them buy regular old phones.

The most interesting thing that most of the people want to is that whether their children can access Apple devices or not? Back in 2013, Melinda Gates said their children are only allowed to access Windows devices even they asked for Apple products.

Bill Gates stated that it is true, as their wealth source is Microsoft then why they should invest in a competitor. Even in his interview with Vogue, he quoted something similar thing when he was asked about usage of iPods or iPhones.

Various people think that this is a very good parenting strategy, where parents do not allow their children to use smartphones until they turned to 14. And, after 14 they should enforce usage criteria.

Melinda Gates stated that she sometimes gets jealous when she sees others using Apple products. Even she and her husband cannot access Apple devices as well. Even Bill Gates said that  “Every now and then I look at my friends and say ‘Ooh, I wouldn’t mind having that iPhone’.”
