The Priv, First Android Phone from BlackBerry was launched on November 6th, 2015. Recently BlackBerry announced that there would be no Android Security Patches for the vertical QWERTY slider phone.

But the Company is still pushing out an update to the Priv. This update includes a new firmware version (AAW068), and Change list is unknown.
There is no difference between Old Firmware’s Security Patch level and the new, after the update, no more monthly security patches are coming to the Priv, but BlackBerry said that ” we will engage our partners as needed to develop and deliver necessary patches, to expose vulnerability.”
Before you continue to update, there is something you should know, that This is a 100MB update so when you receive notification on your Priv, make sure you are connected to the Wi-Fi and check to see if your battery has been charged fully.
