Honor held a virtual launch today, announcing two new phones in the Play series: a standard Play 6T and a slightly more powerful Play 6T Pro. Both have 5G-enabled Dimensity chipsets and attractive prices, but these devices are likely to remain limited to the domestic market.
The Honor Play 6T has a 6.7-inch LCD screen with a water drop notch on top of a 5-megapixel camera. It is equipped with a Dimensity 700 chipset and 8 GB of RAM as well as 128 GB of storage space.

The back has a new design that we haven’t seen on an Honor phone before, as well as a 13MP main sensor.

The phone ships with Magic UI 5.0, which is based on Android 11. The Play 6T is powered by a 5,000 mAh battery that lacks a fancy fast charging standard.

The phone will be available in black, blue, and silver for 1,199 CNY (approximately $ 190). There is also a 256 GB option for CNY1,399 (approximately $220).
The Honor Play 6T Pro also has a 6.7-inch LCD screen on the front, but this one houses an 8-megapixel camera and has a 1080p resolution. It is powered by a Dimensity 810 chip and comes with 8GB of RAM.
