Facebook has been feeling tentative about its latest idea of providing the animated GIFs to the News Feed, the company argued that this could result in a lot of distraction from the original matter.

Time is changing gradually and the CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg said that the social media has been working to add a GIF button in the comments. And the testing of the feature will happen next week.

The feature will allow users to browse and search GIFs from sources like Giphy and Tenor. And you can also expect the working of this feature similar to the GIF as introduced in the Messenger app. According to the Social networking site:

Everyone loves a good GIF and we know that people want to be able to use them in comments. So we’re about to start testing the ability to add GIFs to comments and we’ll share more when we can, but for now we repeat that this is just a test.

Just similar to the previous test, the feature is only limited to the selective number of the users and it will reveal globally after its successful tests.

The animated GIFs may be little distracted but we should not deny the usefulness of the feature. As this feature cannot be able to express the feelings of the person.
