In the previous year, Facebook has introduced its sluggish competing service and made it public in beta version and after that, the company redesigned and named it as ‘Workplace’ as its messaging side offerings.

Workplace chat consists of two components such as browser and mobile. Today, the company aimed to release it officially, so that the users can be able to chat in text or over video.

The users can also capable of transferring files and they can also share screen through the computer. The chatting service will also consist of group video chat support to the desktop and mobile Workplace Chat apps in the upcoming weeks.

Later in 2017, the company aimed to reveal the streamlined free version of the workplace without any bells and wishlists. The company has been taking such steps for dominating the market against its rivals companies by improving and providing small team offerings from Slack.
