Galaxy S7 Achieves Another Milestone – Becomes Most Used Samsung Device

The improvement of Samsung Galaxy series is pretty impressive as their market share is, both successor of Galaxy S6 the Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge represent the best of the best smartphones in Android smartphone industry. The Galaxy S7 must have been one heck of smartphone if it was able to generate a sufficent number of sales according to the latest report. However, the devices ended up being the most used smartphone in the world.

Samsung Galaxy S7 Becomes Most Used Samsung Device

ScientiaMobile released their Mobile Overview Report (MOVR) for Q1 2017 today, the report determined that Samsung Galaxy S7 generates more mobile browsing than any other Samsung device in the world. Previously Samsung Galaxy S5 had the title of most used Samsung device in the world, as well as in U.S. as of March 2017.

It was found that the Galaxy S5 peaked in popularity in November 2015 at 5.5 percent, which is approximately 579 days after launch.

Samsung thoroughly improved Galaxy S5 successor Galaxy S6 in terms of design overhaul by giving metal and glass chassis. The Samsung Galaxy S6 peaked in June 2016 at 3.1%, 428 days after launch, and remained well below its predecessor until March 2017. The Samsung Galaxy S7 is still growing in popularity and eclipsed both S5 and S6 in April 2017 after only 400 days.

On another hand, Galaxy S7 continues to grow in popularity and managed to beat the records of Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S6 in April 2017 after the period of 400 days.

Granted, it has not been a long time since the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ were officially launched in several markets, so it will take a while before ScientiaMobile can provide accurate findings of its report, possibly during the later months of 2017.
