Samsung rolled out a new update for its Galaxy S8’s global version with changelog listing improvised camera stability and security patch.

Samsung Galaxy S8 received the second update in just two weeks

With the addition of a new update for Galaxy S8, it is the second time Samsung provided an update for a smartphone in only two weeks. Keeping in mind the track record of Samsung for providing software it is quite impressive.

The OTA is being sent on all devices and may take a few days to reach all devices. So, if you are Galaxy S8 owner be ready to update your device and have better camera stability on your phone.


Galaxy S8 is a two-year-old flagship with its software updated to Android 9.0 Pie last month. Users of S8 were requesting the company to provide the latest software as it was the most sold phone of Galaxy Series. The new One UI makes the interface of S8 fully redesigned and it feels like using almost a Galaxy S10.

The Android 9 update is the second update that S8 got after launching back in 2017 with Nougat. Last year, Samsung updated the device to Android Oreo, and now phone received the second update of the year of Android Pie.
