In the blog post, Google wrote: “Sending and receiving attachments is an important part of email exchanges,”. But, the main drawback is that the search engine is very coercive with the size of the attachments.
These sizes include both incoming and outgoing messages at 25 MB. Therefore, keeping in view this problem, the company has increased the size of attachment up to 50MB including both incoming and outgoing messages.
Unluckily, within the same limit, as like before, sending messages has been included, however, using Google Drive, users are allowed to transmit the larger files.
The reason due to which the company has modified the size so that in future, rules should be as simple as possible.
The other reason for including the transmission of messages within the fixed attachment size is to rapidly fill up inbox space to force the user to pay for the extra storage.
