The GMC Hummer EV has always had an air of mystery about it. During its launch, GM referred to it as a “moonshot” product, alluding to the Apollo 11 mission. Its cabin even has Easter eggs, such as a topography map of the Sea of Tranquility. The surprise doesn’t stop there; a launch control screen shows the lunar surface.
The new Omega Edition of the Hummer EV pickup and SUV expands on the interstellar theme. The special trim has a matte Neptune Blue finish. It is themed after the eighth planet and features black exterior badges as well as 18-inch gloss black wheels. Instead of standard rubber mats, there is a luxurious carpet flooring insert. The spare wheel cover even has a texture similar to that of the Blue Planet.
Omega Edition Specifications
This limited edition is only available in the 3X trim level and includes the Extreme Off-Road package. This means it includes views from the UltraVision underbody camera. There are also additional skid plates, rocker protection, and built-in assist steps. The unique 18-inch wheels are wrapped in 35-inch Mud Terrain tires.

The pickup version of EV includes a 24-module battery pack as an option. This battery pack has a 1,000 horsepower rating and a range of up to 329 miles.
These performance specifications are outstanding. They demonstrate that the Hummer EV can handle off-road terrain. It is capable of doing so while delivering strong power and a long range.
Despite the Omega Edition’s emphasis on visual appeal, the Hummer EV’s performance capabilities are still impressive.
Price and Launch Date
The GMC Hummer EV Omega Edition is priced at $139,995 for the SUV and $149,995 for the pickup. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in early 2024.
