Google Assistant will read news for you

During Google I/O, Google presented a new design for the AI-powered News app. Now Google has finally announced the new feature that will allow the assistant to read stories from Google News. You just have to ask “Hey Google, what’s the latest news?” in-return you will get news from the Google News app or you can even be more specific ” what’s the latest news about tech?”.

Google Assistant will read news for you.

This feature will also work on Google Home smart speakers.

This feature is rolling out and will be available on Android devices, smart speakers and Smart Display unit with Google Assistant enabled.
On Smart Display devices you will be able to view video or audio headlines about News, Sports, Politics from the hundred of sources including BBC, CNN, asking about the specific topic will display you a video from the Youtube on the screen.
