Now, it is very easy to search for stream contents on your iPhone. On Wednesday, Google announced that its latest update to its search app on iOS devices allowing users to search for particular TV shows, movies and songs on streaming services including iTunes, Hulu, Amazon Video, Google Play, Youtube, and Spotify.
This feature is already available on Android and the desktop devices. The feature displays icons of streaming services that shows you the content you are looking for.
For instance, if you are searching for Zootopia, the app will then shows you a “Knowledge Box” on top of search results.
Below, there will be relevant information about the movie such as screenshots, movie ratings, and synopsis, now you will be able to search links to Netflix, Hulu and wherever else it is streaming.
You will have to do the same thing for music but you will be offered links to Apple Music, Spotify and Pandora instead. The app will also be there to guide you to pay to rent or buy the content.
However, it is not a huge update but it is very helpful indeed. Nowadays, mobile culture is shifting from web surfing to working within apps. This feature will help users to find a particular thing more effectively and efficiently.
