According to the report, Google is preparing to compete with big rivals like Amazon with its own smart speaker that comes with a screen. Google is following JBL’s and LG’s approach rather than two screen approach of the Levono.
Google hasn’t made any official announcements about its product but many sources said that Google is also working on Pixel Slate and Screen.
The report also claimed that the smart display features a front-facing camera, two microphones, and screen larger than the current 10-inch Lenovo unit. The reports could not confirm other functionality like voice commands.
For comparison, Quanta is responsible for producing most of the product of Google like Home speakers.
Google is planning to reveal its new Smart display later this year.
