Google’s latest flagship phones, the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, were just released all around the world. According to reports, the company is working on its first foldable smartphone, the Google Pixel Fold. The design of the upcoming Pixel Fold has appeared online. The report also covers the expected price of the Pixel Fold and when it will be available. Regrettably, no information about its specifications and features can be obtained.
Google’s upcoming Pixel Fold: Renders and Price Surface with Design Reveal
The Google Pixel Fold appears to have a broader and smaller shape, similar to the OPPO Find N. As a result, the foldable phone will not break. The images below show that the device is identical to the current Pixel 7 range in that it has a punch-hole cover display, an inner foldable screen, and a horizontal camera bar on the back.

Inside the screen there’s a 9.5-megapixel selfie camera. Inside (when opened), there is another 9.5-megapixel selfie camera. The pictures show that the sides of the inner foldable screen will have thick bezels. According to the source, there are two operational models of the device. One features an inside camera, whereas the other does not.
There are speakers on both the top and bottom of the device. The right-side power button can access the fingerprint reader. A USB Type-C port can be found on the underside. The rear camera strip differs slightly from the Pixel 7 series due to its rounded corners. There are two cameras and two LED flashes inside.

According to recent speculations, the device thought to be developed by Google under the codename “Felix” would be unveiled to the public under the name “Pixel Fold.”

If this proves to be accurate, it’s a bitter pill to swallow, but we’re sure Google will have no issue finding folks waiting in line to get an early glimpse at its first foldable product.
Google Pixel Fold Price and Release Date
According to reports, Google plans to release the Pixel Fold Phone alongside the Pixel Tablet in May 2023. Unfortunately, while we had heard that price would be on the lower end of the (clearly expensive) foldable market, Prosser’s sources believe that Google would sell the Fold for a staggering $1,800. Google Pixel Fold will be available in the Obsidian Black and Chalk White colors. This is despite earlier reports that prices could be on the low end of the market.
