Google has released another beta of Android P, this version might provide the final look of the latest OS before it’s completed later this summer.

Google engineering VP Dave Burke said this version is actually  “early release candidate build”, what you are watching in this beta version will be in the final version of Android P.

Google releases the third beta of Android P.

This beta includes nothing but fixes and optimization.

The bigger deal here is for developers since system behaviors and API’s are supposed to be in a close to final state, so they can start their testing phase and rely on how they’ll work.

Google isn’t promising a bug-free build, so testing beta version on the main device is not a good idea.

Google just released candidate build which indicates that the flavor still needs to be optimized and fixed, Google is two or month away from releasing the final build, so there’s likely still improvements to come.

Google hasn’t said anything but the name and the digital wellbeing feature is still missing from the earlier betas, which is considered to be the highest profile feature of Android P.

Burke said the Android Engineering team will be answering your technical questions about the new OS on July 19, Reddit AMA.
