Google’s AlphaGo retires from competition

To assume that AlphaGo had a great run in the competition Go place would be an understatement. It has just overcome the world’s number 1 Go player, Ke Jie, in a three-part match.

Now there is no prove left that the AI executing its boots and leaving the world of competition Go back. AlphaGo’s developers from Google-owned DeepMind are a focus on making the advanced general algorithms that can help the scientists to find the rarest medicines for diseases, reduces the consumption energy and develop the new revolutionary materials.

Earlier they leave Go back finally, they make a plan for publishing the new paper in this year to expose how they squeezed the AI and have prepared for the matches against Ke Jie.

They are also making the tools that show how AlphaGo behave in a different situation on the Go board with the help of number 1 players.

However, you will have to wait for few time to get access to those, soon you will be able to see 50 games AlphaGo which can be played against itself when it was training.

After releasing the sample of the games the researchers had played a game so that they can be able to make it better. Go player Gu Li says those matches are “like nothing [he’s] ever seen before” and they are “how [he] imagine[s] games from far in the future.”

DeepMind will release those 50 games as soon as possible, however, first 10 games are already available on their on website.
