In the last weekend, a developer has discovered a way for getting a portrait mode from th ePixel 2 for working on the older Pixel handsets, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P.

And, now another, developer has found that they can work on several smartphones at same time through Android Oreo running on those smartphones.

Apparently, the company has tested the modified Camera NX and it is working fine with  OnePlus 3/3T, Moto G5s Plus, Xiaomi Mi 5/5s having LineageOS 15 running on them.

Even, Galaxy Note 8 of Samsung  has been able to run the leaked Android Oreo beta version. Overall, the app should work with the 64-bit smartphones with Android Oreo running on them.

Accidentally, the developer who was able to modify the original Camera NX app only manages to use portrait mode with the rear-facing camera.

Surely, the developers will be able to find a way to enhance the app, so that the users will be able to take selfies with the depth of field look.

However, the company has released the beta version but if you want to use it on your Android Oreo, then you can download the APK file from here.
