Its been a while since Huawei and Honor got seperated and almost a year and half since ban on Huawei. Honor is now a standalone brand separated from parent company so restrictions that apply on Huawei no longer faced by Honor. The Honor view 40 has been launched recently after delay. There were rumors of this phone getting Google services which might turn out to be true.

Now the CEO, George Zhao, clears the air and says that there’s no reason for the company not to partner up with Google again.

The company has already confirmed partnerships with Intel, AMD, Qualcomm and MediaTek but Google was key partner missing from the list. In an interview for South China Morning Post, the company’s CEO said that the two tech firms are already in talks.
