There should be no confusion that camera of iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 plus are unique and remarkable. Actually, these cameras are so generous that Apple considers enabling HDR (High Domain Range) at all times so that users can be able to get a perfectly balanced photo every single time they tap on that shutter button.
Obviously, all users may not be satisfied as HDR feature tends to add a little bit of ‘artificialness’ into the mix if some lighting conditions are involved. So, here we are going to turn off automatic HDR and will guide you how to disable it.
As you can not be able to disable this feature from Camera straight away. One thing that you must keep in mind that auto HDR feature is only restricted to iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.
But in other iPhone versions, you can directly turn it off by switching On, Off or Auto options from the camera app.
- Goto Settings
- Scroll down and look for Camera options and tap on it
- Go for toggle switch labeled ‘Auto HDR’ and turn it off.
