There are many rumors about HTC One X9 but smartphone will not launch till next couple of weeks.
According to a new report coming directly from Taiwan, major retailer ePrice plans to put the HTC One X9 on sale after the Lunar New Year holiday.
The holiday next year will fall between February 6-14, which means the One X9 might go on sale sometime in late February or early March.
HTC has already confirmed on its official Weibo page that it will unveil the next generation of its mid-range model, but it did not disclose any details regarding its exact release date.
The same retailer claims the HTC One X9’s price will range between NT$12,000 and NT$15,000, which means it should cost around $365-$400 outright.
Rumor has it that HTC One X9 will look very much the same as One A9, but the brand logo will be on the upper front part rather than the lower front seen in latter model.
Even though HTC did not share any details on the One X9’s specs, a new test report confirms the smartphone will feature MediaTek’s Helio X10 processor, along with a 5.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display that should support full HD (1080p) resolution.

Furthermore, HTC One X9 is said to come with advanced photography functions and a 13-megapixel camera on the back. The Taiwanese company will continue to use an UltraPixel camera in the front, as secondary camera meant for selfies and video calls.
It’s also worth mentioning that market sources claim HTC One X9 has already been approved by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information, which means the smartphone is likely to be initially launched in the Mainland.
HTC hopes to penetrate the huge Chinese market with the One X9, just like it did with the One A9 in the past, so an initial release in China shouldn’t surprise anyone.
