Huawei is going to roll out its EROFS (Extendable Read-Only File System) for its P20 lite, P30 Lite, Nova 3i, and Huawei Y9 Prime by the end of July.
It will be a significant update in terms of performance as the new file system is exclusive to only Huawei P30 Pro so far. EROFS will increase an average random read speed up to 20% and save around 2GB of system storage.

While changing the file system will improve your phone’s performance a lot. You shouldn’t be confused with upgrading storage itself. The new standard of UFS – the USF 3.0 storage is twice as faster as the current standard UFS 2.1; However, it depends on the task.
Huawei will also bring its GPU Turbo 3.0 to P30 Lite, P20 Lite, Nova 3i and also Huawei Y9 with a new software update in these devices.

GPU Turbo 3.0 is undoubtedly tremendous and also exclusive to Huawei’s P30 Pro, it reduced SoC power consumption by 10% while providing optimized performance to the system. GPU Turbo 3.0 will enhance the gaming experience by taking a peek into the upcoming frame and providing information to GPU. It will ensure fewer frame drops and make gameplay smoother.
