Huawei’s HarmoneyOS announcement is set for June 2 and will have a couple of products launched in the event as well. Yesterday, Huawei teased its upcoming Watch 3 and another teaser confirms Huawei intends to announce a new MatePad Pro too.
Teaser images posted shows M-Pancil that’ll be compatible with new MatePad Pro 2. This will be first Huawei device to come with the company’s custom HarmoneyOS out of the box.
Blogger @ChanganDigitalKing reports via Weibo that the Huawei MatePad Pro 2 with M-Pencil “will be released soon”. We can also expect the new MatePad Pro 2 to come with multi-screen collaboration features as we’ve seen with Huawei devices on Huawei PCs running Windows 10. We imagine that one would be able to mirror a Huawei smartphone’s display into a smaller window on the larger tablet, which may be equipped with either a 12.2-inch or 12.6-inch display. There’s also a possibility of two variants of the new MatePad Pro.
The MatePad Pro 2 will be powered by a Kirin 9000 series chipset and support Huawei 40W Super Charge. The new M-Pencil will be updated with a translucent pen tip and its “appearance and function are greatly improved” according to the blogger.
