China Compulsory Certification (3C) for LTE connectivity means the much-anticipated Huawei Watch 4 Series has reached a major milestone. This certification proves that the soon-to-be-released smartwatch will have 4G LTE connectivity, letting users stay in touch even when they’re not near their phones.

Watch 4 LTE Certification

The certificate for the Huawei Watch 4 Series reveals that the device with model ARC-AL00 will be the standard version. In addition to LTE connectivity, the certificate confirms that the smartwatch will have 5W fast charging capability. Goertek (Jingwei Hi-Tech) will manufacture the device.

Watch 4 WiFi Certification

This certification follows the recent WiFi certification of the Watch 4 series. The WiFi Alliance has released certificates for three new Huawei smartwatches, including the ARC-AL00, MDS-Al10, and MDS-AL00 models. While the ARC-AL00 is the standard version, the latter two are certified as the Huawei Watch 4 Pro.

Design and features

There is little information available about the design of the Watch 4 series. Still, rumor has it that it will support satellite SMS, a feature not currently available on any other smartwatch. This feature will enable users to send and receive SMS messages without a cellular network.

Moreover, according to a report, Huawei will use ultra-premium zirconium to manufacture the smartwatch. This may increase the device’s price, but it may also make it more appealing to consumers seeking a high-end product.

The smartwatch offers several features that could appeal to consumers looking for a device that can keep them connected on the go, including LTE connectivity, fast charging, and satellite SMS capability. Furthermore, using super-premium zirconium material may make the device a distinct and appealing option in the crowded smartwatch market.
