WiFi AX2 supports a theoretical data transmission rate of 1,500 Mbps in dual-band mode, which is faster than Wi-Fi 5 routers that can only support a theoretical data transmission rate of 1,200 Mbps in dual-band mode. Connected devices can automatically and dynamically switch between receiving signals on 2.4GHz and the faster 5GHz channels, thanks to the router’s True Dual-band Technology, which ensures stable Wi-Fi connectivity no matter how close or far the users are located in relation to the router.

Boosted coverage and faster performance

Seven roaming algorithms, including 802.11k and 802.11v, are supported as part of the HUAWEI Mesh+. Access point switching occurs seamlessly and quickly with roaming latency as low as just 50ms when users move around their home while streaming a video or playing an online game.

When paired with HUAWEI HomeSecTM, the HUAWEI WiFi AX2 can protect users’ home networks from increasingly common cyber-attacks.

Detection and prevention of brute force attacks on the WLAN are part of the security solution provided by Brute Force Attack Prevention.
