Huawei Y5 Prime announced quietly on its website.

Mid-range smartphones rarely get the press event treatment, and these smartphones are announced quietly. Same thing happened to Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) which is announced quietly by Huawei on official website.

Front and Back

Huawei Y5 Prime is a mid-range smartphone which supports a 5.45-inch HD+ display with resolution 1440 x 720 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

There is no dual camera setup, but you will be able to find 13MP single primary camera and 5MP selfie camera. There is no fingerprint sensor instead the Y5 prime wants you to unlock your phone by facial recognition technology.

Huawei said:

“phone will be available after an OTA update.”

Under the Hood

Huawei Y5 Prime (2018) will feature 1.5Ghzz quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM. The device will be available with 16GB of built in storage by up to an additional 25GB. Two extra slots one for second Sim and one for microSD card are available.
