Instagram remains in headline all the time. This time, it is reported that the social media platform is now introducing a new feature that will allow users to start a new group chat.
The group messages can be started around specific stories. On an official Twitter account, the company has notified its users about the change.

Nearly, the users will be able to append a “join chat” sticker to their Stories. If their followers tap on that sticker, they will be redirected towards a new private group chat.
Moreover, the author will have an option to accept or reject a particular join request.
Apparently, the social media platform is promoting the “join chat” sticker. This new sticker is a new way to connect with your friends and family.
And, it seems that Instagram is discontinuing its plans about the direct messaging app.
All of this shows Instagram thinks that both direct messages and Stories have a significant role in the betterment of the social media platform.
The social media platform has been making changes such as revamped Explore section. The explore section contains Stories along with a donation sticker.
