You will never see a full blown computer smaller than the Intel’s remarkably thin computer card, declared for the first time at CES. It’s easy to neglect the modular computer for a credit card or smart card. it’s very thin and easy to lose.
It’s full blown computer, with 7th generation Intel Kaby Lake Processor, memory, storage and Wireless connectivity.
USB-C or other ports are powerful or connect to displays. The Compute Card will work only when you can connect into a slot of a greater device, much like smart cards.
Computer Card will target the market and will slot into all-in-one devices, digital signs, smart devices, robots, drones and other products.
Compute Card will make PC upgrades simply by connecting the card into a slot of the computer device. You cannot buy the new computer just you buy the latest processors and components.
Intel work with different companies like Dell, HP, Lenovo, and Sharp to make unique slots into devices. Most of the PCs maker will try to make the slots into the PCs.
