Lenovo announces mid-range K5 and K5 Play

Lenovo has launched two new smartphones in Lenovo S series. Lenovo is currently on fair streak- company recently announce S5 in china and now K5 and K5 play devices just appeared.

Lenovo K5

Lenovo K5 comes with a 5.7” panel of HD+ resolution. Chipset is MediaTek MT6750 with a processor clocked at 1.5 GHz with 3 GB RAM. 32 GB storage, there is a microSD slot. The Lenovo K5 comes with ZUI 3.1, based on Android Nougat. There are 2 cameras 13MP F/2.0 + 5MP F/2.2 on the back and front 8MP and F/2.0 aperture.

Fingerprint Scanner is on the back, and battery capacity is 3,000mAh. Whole setup resides in a 153.8 x 72.7 x 7.8 mm body that weighs 160 g. All these features but charging is done by old microUSB port. Lenovo K5 will be available in the Chinese market on April 10 in Gray, Black and Blue with cost $143.

Cheaper Device- identical 5.7” display, but the chipset is Snapdragon 430 and two memory version 2GB / 3GB RAM and 16 GB / 32 GB storage and of course microSD slot. Play version is ZUI 3.7 compared with the regular K5, Two rear cameras have 13MP and 2MP sensors, the pack also include a fingerprint scanner and microUSB. Phone will hit the market a week after the launch of the K5 and currently available for pre-order with cost /$112 for a phone in Black, Blue or Gold.
