Lenovo is all set to launch its new Lenovo Z5 or perhaps Lenovo ZUK Z5 in an event in Beijing on June 5, according to the Lenovo Group VP Cheng. Cheng made announcement on Weibo today while publishing an official Poster for the event.
Cheng has teased the handset a number of times in recent weeks, dropping some huge hints about what it will offer.
Cheng claimed that the Z5 will show off four technological breakthroughs, based on 18 patented technologies, including a potential 95 percent screen-to-body ratio.
Cheng has also revealed different aspect of the design in renders showing bezel less phone, If the representations are accurate, this would beat all other Android flagships in the particular area and will prove itself as a great rival of Vivo Apex.
The Lenovo outplayed giants like Xiaomi, Samsung, and Huawei with a “true full screen” device, the company isn’t known for the display tech innovations, But Cheng statements and comments have only made the Z5 sound even more outrageous.
Cheng also said that the phone will have as much as 4TB of native storage, and up to 45-days standby times.
If the Z5 delivered all of this, this would be the biggest technological leap ever made in the smartphone sphere. Manufacturers are trying to deliver 45-hours of standby time and Cheng is talking about 45-days.
All of these ideas are collected from scraps on Chinese social media so it’s difficult to say what going to happen but we got a week to find out what the Lenovo Z5 is really all about.
