LG Q7 new budget phone popped up on a popular benchmarking site.

Last year LG introduced it Q-brand, the Q6 and Q8 were first two LG Q-branded devices. These two phones were launched as an alternate of LG G6. According to the rumours LG is planning to adopt the same strategy in 2018, LG Q7 will be a budget alternative to the G7 ThinQ (Which is going to be launched on June 1).

LG Q7 has shown up on Geek Bench under the model number LGE LM-Q710,FG.

Geek bench listing revealing an Octa-core Helio P10 processor clocked at 1.51GHz on the inside . Last year LG Q6 utilized Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 chip-set, this year device is likely to switch over to MediaTek power. 4GB of RAM will be allowing LG Q7 to achieve a single-core result of 630 and a multi-core result of 2322. LG Q7 is powered by latest Android 8.1.0.

Device will support tall display and will adopt controversial notch, just like the G7 ThinQ. LG also claimed that They were thinking of notch display before the release of iPhone X.

This all from rumours as nothing has been confirmed.

LG also requested a trademark for the “Q Note” so Q7 is likely to be launched with separate, stylus-equipped Q7 this year.

Last year LG Q6 was launched in July, this year Q7 is expected to follow the same steps. This clearly point us toward the end of June or the beginning of July with a release toward the end of the month in the selected market and later in global market.

LG Q7 is expected to go on offer around the $300 mark.
