Nowadays, it is very common news about the hacking or halting the sites. Today, it is reported that world’s famous sites including Twitter , SoundCloud, Spotify and Shopify are being downed for many users. The reason behind this is an outage of the DNS provider Dyn, this happens because of the DDOS attack on the sites, According to the report on the site named as Hacker News.
Different organizations and security companies have been trying to figure out the cause of the attack and will try to identify the Hackers.
As you may be aware of the results of such attacks. Therefore, some the sites are facing complex issues like Box, Boston Globe, New York Times, Github, Airbnb, Reddit, Freshbooks, Heroku and Vox Media properties. Depending on the locations of the users, Many of the users might be facing difficulties in accessing these sites or users may not be able to access these sites. However, some of the users in Asia and Europe may face problems but no complaints have been posted on these areas yet.
The DDOS attack affecting its customers is mostly impacting the U.S. East coast, and specifically Managed DNS customers. Engineers are working on “mitigating” the issue, according the DNS provider.
Today, at 9 am or around reports have been posted that these sites have been trying their reliability.
