Surface Pro 5 incoming? Microsoft reveals event to launch ‘what’s next’

Microsoft appears to be on roll having released its “potential” Chromebook-killer Windows 10 S and Surface Laptop earlier this week. The Redmond Software maker is preparing for another event after New York City and this time its will be held in Shanghai.

“Microsoft Will Show the World What’s Next” on May 23 – Surface Pro 5 Expected

Following its education-themed event on May 2nd and Build Developer Confrerence Scheduled for next Week, The company is planning its third event this month which is going to take place in China on May 23rd.

On May 23 in Shanghai, Microsoft will show the world what’s next. Check this site for updates and more information.

It is expected that the company will unveil new Surface hardware with Microsoft’s corporate vice President of Devices, Panos Panay tweeting with hashtag #Surface when announced the event on twitter. In an inerview with Bloomberg Microsoft’s vice president Yusuf Mehdi also said yesterday to “expect to see an update to Surface Pro 4 coming soon.”

A Surface Pro 5 is highly likely to be star of the MicrosoftEvent but all is speculation at this point event after the two direct hints by company directly. Paul Thurrot recently in tweet told the Surface Pro 5 will not change the Surface connect power connector and it will feature the Intel’s Kay Lake processor.

Why Microsoft has selected Shanghai despite of having the prefrence for New York in the past in yet unclear. Almost all the previos Surface devices are launched in NYC. However may be company is working on “change is good for health and wealth”.
