Office is used by more than billion people every month,

we are excited about these changes and recognize how important it is to get things right

Over the next several months we will deploy new designs.

Microsoft’s new simplified ribbon is initially available on the Web version of Office, before testing it with Outlook for Windows users in July.

Outlook web is also getting a new search feature which anticipates contacts, revisiting searches, or upcoming meetings.
