Microsoft’s strong quarter was powered by the cloud, Surface and Xbox

Apparently, it is very hard to give reviews about quarterly earnings of Microsoft without sounding like a broken record.

From past few years, Microsoft’s cloud business has been rapidly increasing which causes an increase in its revenues as compared to the past.

According to the company, its revenues have been boosted almost 17% as compared to last year.

The company’s revenue reached $30.1 billion as compared to $25.6 billion in the last year.

It is just because of its cloud segment which has added almost $9.5 billion as compared to last year earnings.

Moreover, it is more like a Personal Computing group, which includes Surface, Windows, and Xbox, which is increased almost 17 percent.

The surface line continues to play an important role in revenue growth and its gaming revenues have been increased almost 39 percent.

According to the company, the main reasons behind this rapid growth are third-party titles but it is really a Fortnite.
