At CES 2023, MSI, a Taiwanese company that makes computer parts, showed off its next-generation Spatium M570 Gen5 SSDs. Based on the Phison E26 controller, these SSDs can be used on laptops and desktops. They come in two different versions: standard and PRO.
The standard Spatium M570 Gen5 SSD has reading and writing speeds of up to 10 GB/s and a 3,000 TBW endurance rating. It is available in 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities and includes a heatsink similar to MSI’s previous PCIe Gen4 Spatium drives.
The PRO version ups the ante, with read and write speeds of up to 12 GB/s and a more premium design that includes a geometric shroud with a red-gold chameleon paint finish. It also has the same 1 TB, 2 TB, and 4 TB capacities as the standard version and an updated finned heatsink with a flattened vapor chamber plate.
Along with the SSDs, MSI also showed off the first Gaming X Trio graphics card that is white. The shroud, backplate, and fans on this card are all white, but the PCB is expected to be black. While no official word has been released on which GPU will be used in the card, it is expected to be part of the GeForce RTX 40 series family.
MSI’s new Spatium M570 Gen5 SSDs and white Gaming X Trio graphics card show that the company is committed to making high-quality hardware for both gaming and work. Even though the prices haven’t been set yet, these new products are sure to be a hit with customers who want the best performance. With these products set out in the first half of 2023, users won’t have to wait long to get their hands on.
