Newegg has announced from now on and they’ll be accepting Dogecoin as an official payment method. Dogecoin prices have seen a drastic surge and gaining over 19,000% market value compared to previous years’ price of Dogecoin. That’s the reason a lot of companies are talking about accepting dogecoin.
Newegg Will Accept Dogecoin As An Official Payment Method
One of the key reason for the surge in its value is Elon Musk; whose been tweeting about Dogecoin lately. While there are big players in the crypto market like Bitcoin and Etherium, none had gained so much popularity and value quickly.
Right now, Dogecoin is valued at around $0.40, while a year ago, it was valued at just $0.002. For example, to purchase a $1000 US graphics cards such as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 or the AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, you will have to pay in 2500 Dogecoins (at its current value). When completing an order on Newegg.com, customers who want to pay with Dogecoin simply click “Edit” in the payment section on the checkout page, then select BitPay.
