Wiring in the house is different from the wiring that we did in the entire city or an apartment. Because you need a large pipeline to provide facility to all users rather than the house where you can do this in the gigabit fibres.
However, the company might have work on this as the company is going to wire an entire apartment in Seoul and works with SK Broadband to complete this project. South Korea is providing 52.5Gbps speed of fibre optics.
However, it is not confirmed that everyone will be able to get the same speed, only selected users will be able to see these rates, but there is a maximum chance that you will be able to get the bandwidth in gigabits for which you have paid.
The purpose of this project is to implement passive optical network and let Nokia’s next generation use it. Which will allow internet providers to implement multiple fibre technologies on the same line. In result, you will be able to save your data charges. It will take time for the gigabit internet to travel to your bedroom.
In South Korea, Nokia has already its fibre running in the country, where all the population including government have been favouring the company and are helping to make the plan of the work, the government’s need is to provide gigabit internet to all its population by 2020. It has been very tough in the US and other developing countries. However, it is a very good step in democratising the Ultra-fast speeds that have been very helpful for the people around the world.
