ZTE-backed Nubia has recently confirmed that the company would be launching a new model of the Z40S Pro smartphone in the Chinese market, dubbed Z40S Pro Starry Night Collector’s Edition. The new model is said to come with upgraded specs and features compared to its predecessor.
These include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and a 6.67″ Full HD+ OLED display with 144Hz Refresh rate. It is also said to pack a 5,000mAh battery and support fast charging. The launch date and pricing for the Nubia Z40 have not been revealed yet, but it is expected to be announced on November 5.
The camera department is equipped with: a 64-megapixel Sony IMX787 primary camera with an f/1.6 aperture and OIS support, a 50-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with OIS. Front-facing 16-megapixel camera for shooting selfies and video calls.
Users will receive Android 12 out of the box based on MyOS 12. In terms of battery life, the phone has a 5000mAh battery with 80W or 120W charging.
Nubia, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, has announced that its new Z40S Pro Starry Night Edition devices will go on sale November 5, 2022 in China. Unfortunately, the price has not yet been disclosed.
What we presumed from the phone’s name has been confirmed by the new teasers shared by the company. The back panel of the Nubia Z40S Pro Starry Night Collector’s Edition was designed to evoke Van Gogh’s iconic Starry Night painting.
The phone’s exterior will be Starry Blue to match the back panel. In addition, the poster includes a Sony optical sensor and a 35mm primary camera, both of which are visible. According to the manufacturer, the phone is equipped with advanced artificial intelligence constellation technology to help users locate constellations.
