Samsung issued the One UI 4.1 update to the Galaxy S20 FE 5G a few days ago, and now the 4G variant is getting the same treatment.
This is currently being rolled out to Exynos and Snapdragon 4G variants in a lot of places. But wait, the S20 FE 4G isn’t the only one! The Galaxy A71 5G has also received the One UI 4.1 update, which skips One UI 4.0 entirely and jumps right to One UI 4.1, implying that this is the device’s first Android 12 update. The A71 5G devices sold in the UAE and Korea are the first to receive One UI 4.1, which includes the March 2022 security patch level.
Finally, the Galaxy A52s 5G will receive One UI 4.1 in Europe and Korea, with further regions following suit shortly. The One UI 4.0 update for the A52s 5G was a big deal, and it introduced a lot of bugs and points, so we’re hoping this One UI 4.1 update will fix them all. It brings a minimum of the March 2022 safety upgrades.
Remember that over-the-air rollouts are frequently phased, so it could take a few days (if not weeks) for all of the items on the market in the wild to receive that notification. If you’re impatient and own one of these phones, you can always check manually by going to Settings > Software programme Update.
