OnePlus has started updates to Android Oreo at the beginning of the year for OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T.
OTA OnePlus 5 & 5T Android 8.1 Oreo incremental update released
Now after three months OnePlus 5 and the OnePlus 5T are getting updates to Android Oreo 8.1.
The update includes new features and some optimizations: The update brings the latest security patch, Gaming mode optimization by including power efficiency settings and network prioritization, new categorized tags are added in Launcher in the search section as well as auto name folder based on the category.

The OnePlus 5T users will now get full-screen gesture support, while OnePlus 5 will not receive it for now and will be using its standard ratio display.
