Facelock is common and Now available in mid-range smartphones like Huawei P20 Lite and Huawei Y9 2018. Every smartphone vendor jumped toward Facelock since Apple introduced it in Apple iPhone X. Most companies rely on selfie camera without any additional hardware for proper biometric authentication, that is not a same level of security.
OnePlus 6 Face Unlock Feature Fooled Using Photo, While OnePlus 5T Passed The Test
@rik has demonstrated newly launched OnePlus 6 can be unlocked just using a photograph of a face even a black and white photo. He added his face in facelock and then tried to open the phone using photo it worked, again he tried using BW photo of his, and OnePlus 6 still gets unlocked.

Well, there is a reason that Apple jammed entire Kinect in iPhone X and Samsung and few other brands use Iris scanners. If you want to Secure your OnePlus 6, you better use fingerprint sensor instead of relying on facelock feature.
You might find it interesting and strange at the same time because OnePlus 5T doesn’t seem to be fooled by Photos. Those were tried in a test using Digital Screen and Printed photos as well.
