OnePlus 6T Leak images show a tiny notch and no fingerprint sensor

OnePlus has recently released a teaser of upcoming flagship on twitter. There has been a lot discovered regarding this device and certain aspects of OnePlus 6T are yet to be known. This time a new leak of OnePlus 6T emerges over the internet showcasing design of the device in all its glory. WinFuture published two leaked images of OnePlus 6T including the glossy and matte finish.

OnePlus 6T Leaks WIth A Tiny Notch Up Front In Glossy And Matte Finish

OnePlus 6T has a quite similar design to OnePlus 6, especially on the backside it is more or less similar to its predecessor. The major change that is highlighted is happening in front. OnePlus 6 had a notch smaller than most of the smartphones. However, OnePlus 6T features a teardrop/waterdrop design notch that is smaller as front-facing the camera. It has minimal design as notch can be wrapped around the camera.

TearDrop/Waterdrop design is not new, it was revealed for Oppo F9 in August. And now OnePlus seems to be adopting it, that is not a surprise because both companies have the same parent company. OnePlus has taken a lot of features from Oppo just to make it attractive to users outside China along with revamped software and branding.

Other than the notch, the design of the OnePlus 6T looks pretty similar to the current model. Bezels are still minimal and there’s also a little chin below the screen. Other than this, there have been no purported specification leaks for the device. From what we know, the OnePlus 6T will still feature the Snapdragon 845 coupled with 6 or 8GB of RAM, just like the OnePlus 6.

There are a few things that the company has confirmed, for example, OnePlus 6T will not have a headphone jack instead it will have a bigger battery. Another thing is an in-display fingerprint sensor, that’s why you won’t find any fingerprint sensor on the back in leaked images

OnePlus 6T’s Price and release date

OnePlus 6T will be launched with Android 9.0 and in the United States, it will be sold by T-Mobile. OnePlus 6T’s base model will cost $550 a bit more compared to OnePlus 6. Speaking of launch we are expecting OnePlus 6T’s launch date to be in mid-October.

As I mentioned in the last article say tuned, there is more to come about OnePlus 6T. Do share your thoughts in the comment section below.
