Oppo has announced its A16 model last month with the Helio G35 chipset and it is now back with an ‘s’ variant.
Oppo A16s has almost same specs as Oppo A16
Moreover, Oppo A16s will not bring major changes or improvements over vanilla A16 and it’s not a new phone. You can say it’s Oppo A16 with an NFC chip onboard. That certainly means it has the same specs sheet with Helio G35 chipset, 6.52″ HD+ screen, Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1, and a 5,000 mAh battery.
Oppo A16s is packed with a total of four cameras and has an 8MP selfie unit inside a waterdrop notch and triple rear camera setup. The rear cameras include 13MP primary, 2MP macro and 2MP monochrome lenses.
Furthermore, A16s has a side-mounted fingerprint reader with a 3.5mm headphone jack and USB-C port with quite a similar form factor as Oppo A16.
The Oppo A16s is available in two color variants Pearl Blue and Crystal Black colours and is already up for sale in the Netherlands with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage for €149.
