Oracle has declared that the company is going to launch four new cloud-based software solutions to let businesses have more actionable penetration from tracking of sensors as placed in vehicles, machinery, and employees.
The software cloud service will also be able to make predictions and will allow you to insight into when repair is likely needed or occurrence of the supply chain disruption.
- IoT Asset Monitoring Cloud automates workflows and also monitors IoT data
- IoT Connected Worker Cloud traces employees for safety, service, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- IoT Fleet Monitoring Cloud supports passenger activity and driver behavior
- IoT Production Monitoring Cloud monitors production equipment to evaluate and foretell manufacturing issues
In an Interview, Oracle VP Jon Chorley said:
“We’ve taken the technology to connect and store data with the ability to extract relevant signals out of that data and do that in a specific context, like tracking assets for maintenance services, tracking manufacturing production, and tracking trucks and fleet monitoring,”
Oracle IoT applications are capable of performing actions automatically and can also make predictions of machine repair and track employees movement.
The latest apps are now capable of having the synthesis with more than half a dozen supply chain management solutions as provided by Oracle.
