A well-known Internet Speed testing company, Ookla has officially announced that Pakistan remained at 89th position ion the mobile Internet network.
In the country, the mobile internet network has undergone through massive changes due to the launch of 3G and 4G in past few years.
Out of 122 countries, India is ranked at 109 positions. The company has revealed its November edition of Speed test Global Index. Ookla has conducted the Internet speed test in all of the countries.
In Broadband technology, Singapore has scored the first position as it is having an Internet speed of 153.85Mbps and in mobile Internet, Norway has managed to score the first position as it is having an Internet Speed of 62.66Mbps.
In Pakistan, the mobile Internet Speed is 13.08 Mbps and it is ranked at 89th position as the country loses 3 positions from its previous one which was 86th.
However, in broadband speed, the country has an average speed of 6.13 Mbps, which ranked it at a 122nd position around the world.
The report revealed by the company includes the list of all countries mobile Internet speed. In the rankings, China has 31.22 Mbps, Sirilanka has 9.32 Mbps and India is at 109th position with 8.80 Mbps mobile Internet speed.
People around the world have been backing up the use and growth of technology including the mobile network. As compared to past years, there has been a rapid increase in the mobile network of the country.
Apparently, Pakistan has been competing in the race of advanced technologies and 3G & 4G internet. Before the introduction of 3G/4G, the users were using only 2G technology which was having slow downloading and surfacing speed.
