Mobile World Congress will kick off in Barcelona later this month and Popular chipset manufacturer Qualcomm added Snapdragon 712 to its lineup of smartphone chipset.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC Supports Quick Charge 4+ and have Faster Kryo 360 Cores
Qualcomm has established a brand new Snapdragon 7-series mobile chipset and named it Snapdragon 712. The new SoC succeeds the Snapdragon 710 and provides some features that are innovative and provides support for Quick Charge 4+ charging and Qualcomm Aqstic audio technology. The Snapdragon 712 relies on the FinFET procedure that was 10nm and comes equipped with eight Kryo 360 cores. Qualcomm states that the 64-bit Snapdragon 712 brings a 10 percent increase in performance over its predecessor, but the chipmaker hasn’t disclosed when smartphones powered with the new SoC will reach the market. The same as its predecessor, the Snapdragon 712 is destined for premium offerings that were a smartphone.
Qualcomm claims the Snapdragon 712 was designed to provide a console-level gaming experience and a more immersive multimedia consumption experience, thanks to improved color rendering and sound output. In terms of the SoC itself, it uses the identical octa-core structure based on the Kryo 360 cores as the Snapdragon 710, but the Snapdragon 712 is clocked in a marginally higher 2.3GHz compared to its predecessor’s peak frequency of 2.2GHz. Another improvement comes in the shape of rapid charging standard, as the Snapdragon 712 supports Quick Charge 4that is promised to juice up the battery from 0 to 50 percent in as little as 15 minutes while the Snapdragon 710 had support for Quick Charge 4 benchmark. The Snapdragon 712 also supports the 20MP dual camera or a 32MP single shooter with the same Spectra 250 ISP found in the Snapdragon 710.
The newest Qualcomm SoC utilizes the Snapdragon X15 LTE modem that facilitates fast download speed of up to 800Mbps over Cat. 15 LTE uplink and the standard rate of up to 150Mbps over Cat. 13 LTE. The Snapdragon 712 SoC includes the Spectra 250 ISP that has support for up to a single camera that is single or double cameras while easing 4K video capture and video recording at 120fps. When it comes to media playback, the most current Qualcomm offering has support for 4K Ultra HD video playback in an HDR 10-supported display with a maximum resolution of QHD+ (1440×3360 pixels). Qualcomm Aqstic technology manages the department and is backed by Qualcomm aptX for more music playback over the headset that is wireless.
