It was said earlier that Razer Phone 2 is going to be unveiled later this year along with Blade Notebooks. Now an alleged benchmark of gaming smartphone has shown on Geekbench which reveals Razer Phone 2 will have 8GB of RAM. It is the same size of RAM which is available on Razer Phone. Razer Phone 2 will be powered by Snapdragon 845.
Razer Phone 2 Alleged Specifications Leaked via Geekbench, Which Shows 8GB RAM as Well
- Revenues grew 38.5% year on year to US$274.2 million
- Gross profit grew 45.9% year on year to US$79.5 million
- Gross margin grew by 150 (1.5%) basis points year on year to 29%
- Loss from operations improved 4.3% year on year to US$53.6 million
The leaked benchmarking scores of Razer Phone 2 were posted yesterday and after looking at the scores I found. It has obtained 2,026 points in single-core test and 8,234 points in a multi-core test run. These scores can be achieved with Snapdragon and Razer is known for using high-end SoC.
Razer Phone 2 don’t have chipset design and development team for the time being so they are going to stick with the Qualcomm’s latest SoC. While phones are always progressing towards the higher size of RAM is pretty amazed that Razer Phone 2 is coming with the same amount of RAM as its predecessor. However, 8GB of RAM is too much keeping in mind the usage of the apps available until today.
Having an 8GB RAM in the phone already an overkill doesn’t matter if the phone is targeted for games or not. However, Asus has incorporated 10GB of RAM in their ROG Phone but at the end, it ran out of space.
I am expected Razer Phone 2 to have higher battery capacity at least 4000mAh, that way they can make this phone a standard when it comes to gaming on phone.
