Realme Narzo 50A Prime arrives with 50MP camera and 5,000 mAh battery

Realme released the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i in September, followed by the Narzo 50 last month. Realme Narzo 50A Prime, the company’s latest addition to the Narzo 50 lineup, was announced today. The Realme Narzo 50A Prime features a 6.6″ FullHD+ LCD with a notch for the 8MP selfie camera. The smartphone’s back panel has a kevlar-like texture and features a rectangular island housing flash and a 50MP primary camera joined by depth and macro units. Realme has not disclosed the resolutions of the last two phones, but the former has an f/2.8 aperture and the latter has an f/2.4 aperture. The Narzo 50A Prime is powered by a Unisoc T612 SoC with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone comes with two storage options: 64GB and 128GB and runs Android 11-based Realme UI R Edition out of the box. It does, however, have a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion of up to 1TB. The Narzo 50A Prime is 8.1mm thick and has a fingerprint scanner on the side for biometric authentication. It has a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged at up to 18W via a USB-C port. The Narzo 50A Prime is available in Flash Blue and Flash Black. The 4GB/64GB model costs IDR1,999,000 ($140/€125), while the 4GB/128GB model costs IDR2,199,000 ($155/€140). It will go on sale in Indonesia on March 25, but Realme is holding a special early bird sale today at 6PM local time in the country, where you can get the smartphone for IDR200,000 ($14/€13).
